Sokyo is pleased to announce our participation in an art fair, ASIA NOW, which will take place in Paris from October 20-23, 2022, concurrently with Paris + par Art Basl. We will exhibit works by Shoji Hamada, Kanjiro Kawai, Jiro Kaneshiro, Mitsuko Asakura and Mari Minato at "MINGEI NOW", curated by Nicolas Tremblay, following his first “MINGEI NOW” exhibition at our gallery, Kyoto in 2019. In addition, Minato will present a ceramic tile installation in the special exhibition "PLACES", curated by Kathy Alliou. Besides from the MINGEI NOW, Sokyo Gallery will present a solo exhibition by Yoichi Umetsu, the first of his work to be shown in Europe.
