Sokyo is pleased to present Kimiyo Mishima’s solo show at “Frieze Seoul 2022", which will be held at COEX (Seoul, Korea) from Sep. 2 to 5, 2022. This exhibition features works from over 50 years of her career, from 1969 to 2022. The exhibition represents historically significant paintings from the 1960s and 1970s, which Mishima created after starting her career as a painter; a huge comic book created exclusively from melted slag; and ceramic works from 1970 onwards, when she switched her medium to ceramics.
