Sokyo (Kyoto) is pleased to present Mei Mei’s first solo exhibition in Japan. Marta Corada was born in Spain in 1984 and is currently based in London. She began her career as a photographer in 2008, and since 2016 she has been creating wool sculptures combining ceramics and felt under the artist name Mei Mei. Through her works, she brings to life myths that are mysterious and unique, inviting the viewer into a world of fantasy with her enchanting and contemporary expression. We hope you will enjoy viewing the spiritual creatures, “KAMI”, at the exhibition.
