Women and Lines

Sokyo Gallery is very glad to present a group exhibition, Women and Lines at Sokyo Annex. This exhibition will focus on "women" and "lines", and two-dimensional works by Gaku Azuma, Toru Ishii, and Mayu Kunihisa will be displayed. Women have been portrayed by various artists through the ages. Their appearances are vividly expressed via the eyes of the artists, and are also representing the world of that age. The position and role of women has considerably changed in the modern society.
