Sokyo (Kyoto) is pleased to present "Song Kwang-Ik: Paper Things".
Song is a painter who sublimates hanji (traditional Korean paper) into figurative works with his delicate and skillful technique. His innovative approach challenges the stereotypes of painting and sculpture. This exhibition, his first solo show in Kyoto, will feature a total of 10 works created between 2018 and 2021.
