【Exhibition】Art Rhizome Kyoto | Mari Minato

From Tuesday, September 3 Mari Minato will participate in the Art Rhizome KYOTO 2024 ‘Kyoto Wander: A Transient Journey to the Everlasting’. Minato will be exhibiting four works at the Institut Français, Kyoto. 

 

Minato is known for her paintings in vibrant colors and brushwork with a strong and improvisational feel. In works for public buildings and theaters mostly abroad she has produced a number of expansive wall paintings that fill the spaces. Based in Paris, she has always incorporated research into various cultures, including Japanese history. We hope you take this opportunity to see her works.
